Abbas Araghchi

Also known as: Araghchi · Seyed Abbas Araghchi · Iranian counterpart · Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi

Iran's Foreign Minister engaged in diplomatic efforts to de-escalate Middle East tensions and discuss ceasefire compliance amid US-Iran tensions.

Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is engaged in diplomatic outreach to resolve the deteriorating Middle East ceasefire, holding talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin and coordinating with Algeria's Foreign Minister while tensions escalate over the Strait of Hormuz. Negotiations with the United States have repeatedly stalled over Iran's blockade of the strategic waterway and competing proposals, though Araghchi continues to present diplomatic alternatives as military incidents multiply.
