    A lorry accident at Sachangwan on the Nakuru–Eldoret Highway at around 1:40 p.m. on Saturday blocked both sides of the road. Authorities implemented temporary diversions and worked to remove the vehicle and restore normal traffic flow.

  3. Eldoret City Marathon seventh edition welcomes international athletes

  1. Cyclist raises blood disorder awareness via 300km Nairobi-Eldoret ride

    Brian Karoney cycled more than 300 kilometres from Nairobi to Eldoret on April 24 to raise awareness about blood-related disorders, honouring his late wife who died of aplastic anaemia in 2021. The Little Bags of Life Foundation, inspired by her story, organised the ride and a blood donation drive at Eldoret Sports Club on April 25 to support patients with blood disorders.

  2. Zipporah Achieng wins Young Woman in Media Award

    Zipporah Achieng Owigo, a rising media professional and camera operator, won the 'Young Woman in Media Award' at the Association of Media Women in Kenya's inaugural Women Awards ceremony. Based in Eldoret, Achieng is the only female camera operator in Kenya's North Rift region and has credited her journey with both professional milestones and personal experiences including an encounter with President William Ruto's mother.
