WHO warns one in four teens globally inactive
The World Health Organization reports that a quarter of adolescents aged 11–17 engage in no physical activity of at least 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous exercise per week, raising health risks. The finding, based on surveys from 140 countries and territories covering more than 3.2 million teens, extrapolates to approximately 240 million young people with no active days in a week.
