Opposition leaders demand IEBC reforms before 2027 election
Opposition leaders including Kalonzo Musyoka, Eugene Wamalwa, and Justin Muturi have demanded urgent reforms at the IEBC and warned against reintroducing the Smartmatic election management system under a different name. They said the credibility of the next election depends on an electoral system that commands confidence of all political players, and called for unity within the Azimio coalition ahead of 2027.
