ODM leader Junet mocks opposition's search for unified 2027 candidate
National Assembly Minority Leader Junet Mohamed criticized opposition parties for holding hotel meetings and retreats to find a common presidential candidate for 2027, saying ODM has already settled on its preferred choice. His remarks came after opposition leaders including Kalonzo Musyoka, Fred Matiang'i, and others signed a unity pledge and coalition agreement in August to jointly select a single presidential candidate.
