Kenya tourism regulator denies hostage claims at Maasai Mara lodge
Kenya's Tourism Regulatory Authority has dismissed reports that tourists were held hostage at Muthu Keekorok Lodge in the Maasai Mara National Reserve, saying the claims are false and exaggerated. The authority said the situation stems from a labour dispute between lodge management and staff that is being handled through court proceedings, and warned tourism operators against spreading false or misleading information about safety.
