Italian FA chief discusses Guardiola for national team coaching role
Italy's football federation head Giovanni Malago confirmed he has held talks with Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola about the vacancy at the Italian national side, though he said he was "not sure that this will come about." Malago said the federation would increase the coach's salary budget in Guardiola's case and described opening dialogue as "the right thing to do."
