1. RCMRD and AWS helping 24 African countries map ecosystems

   The Regional Centre for Mapping of Resources for Development (RCMRD) is working with 24 countries in Eastern and Southern Africa to provide biodiversity maps, geospatial data, and technical support to help governments meet the global target of protecting 30% of terrestrial, inland water, coastal and marine areas by 2030 under the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.

2. RCMRD and AWS help 24 African nations protect nature

   Eastern and Southern African governments are working to meet the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework's goal of protecting at least 30% of terrestrial, inland water, coastal and marine areas by 2030. The Regional Centre for Mapping of Resources for Development (RCMRD) is addressing the data-coordination challenge by consolidating biodiversity information across government agencies, research institutions and conservation organisations.
