Companies bidding to upgrade Jomo Kenyatta International Airport must show access to at least Ksh.100 billion in liquid assets, real assets free of debt, lines of credit, or other financial means within the last six months, according to tender evaluation requirements from the Ministry of Roads. The tender also requires bidders to accept a deferred payment plan, with an upfront payment of 10 per cent of the contract sum after providing a bank guarantee.
