Military organization involved in judiciary appointments, university construction, and boxing competitions in Kenya.

The Kenya Defence Forces is collaborating with a Chinese company to construct the first public university in Baringo at Kabarnet, a Sh1 billion project with the first phase of academic infrastructure expected to be completed in one and a half years. Officers from the force were also among new judges appointed to Kenya's High Court, bringing military backgrounds into the judiciary.
