Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations' homicide unit have recovered the missing head of 25-year-old Nyeri businesswoman Joy Kanini after weeks of intensive search, leading the prime suspect back to the scene. The suspect, John Ndiritu Muriithi, alias Tizo, has been remanded in police custody for 21 days at Kiganjo Police Station to allow for scene reconstructions and a mandatory mental assessment.
