Murkomen launches police reservist training amid banditry concerns

Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen opened a National Police Reservists field training facility at Amwathi in Igembe North, Meru, with plans to establish more camps in areas affected by cattle rustling and banditry. He said the training camps would be devolved to areas where security personnel are needed, with additional facilities planned for West Pokot, Baringo, Turkana and other rustling-prone regions.

  2. SHA threatens contract termination over new tariff negotiations

    The Social Health Authority has warned contracted healthcare providers that failure to agree on new tariffs under the Public Officers Medical Scheme Fund will result in immediate contract termination, with nationwide negotiations beginning Monday.
